Lawn care in ChampionsGate, FL

Galapagos keeps ChampionsGate lawns guest-ready on the same day every week, so rentals and full-time homes look sharp next to the golf course. We mow at the right height, edge the drive and pool deck, and set your watering to the rules of your county — the ChampionsGate ZIP code crosses the Osceola–Polk line.

Same day, every week

Tell us your check-in and check-out pattern and we pick a mowing day that keeps the front fresh for arrivals. A lawn cut two days before a Saturday check-in looks its best in the guests’ first photos; a lawn cut on Sunday morning, during the stay, means noise by the pool. For homes without guests, a fixed day still matters: the yard never looks two weeks overdue next to a fairway mowed daily.

Confirm your county

ZIP 33896 is shared with Davenport and crosses the Osceola–Polk line. Osceola follows the South Florida district’s two-day rule; Polk is under the Southwest Florida district’s one-day order through March 31, 2027. We confirm which applies to your address before adjusting the controller, and we keep the mowing day away from the morning after a deep watering.

Ponds, storms and fertilizer

Many homes on the course back onto ponds. On the Osceola side, the county ordinance keeps fertilizer at least 3 feet from the water with a deflector shield (10 feet recommended without one) and bans it during tropical storm and hurricane watches and warnings. Clippings stay out of the water and the storm drains. The turf on the course side of your line belongs to the course; we stop at your property line.

What a ChampionsGate visit includes

  • mowing front, side and back turf at the right height for your grass
  • edging the drive, walks and the pool-deck border
  • trimming around the cage, the AC unit, fences and the trash area
  • blowing the drive, entry, lanai and deck clean for guests
  • a photo to the owner when something needs a decision: a broken head, a dead patch, storm debris

How we start

  • Send us the address, gate instructions and your booking pattern.
  • We confirm your county and water district, and your community’s vendor rules.
  • We choose a visit day that lands before arrivals.

Questions about lawn care

Which day of the week should my rental lawn be cut?

One or two days before your most common check-in day, so the lawn is fresh for arrivals and the crew is not working during a stay. We set it from your booking pattern.

Do I need weekly mowing in winter?

Growth slows in the cooler months, and many lawns are fine every other week. Rentals with frequent arrivals often keep a weekly visit for the edges and blowing, even when the grass grows less.

How many days a week can I water in ChampionsGate?

On the Osceola side, two days under the South Florida district’s year-round rule. On the Polk side, one day under the Southwest Florida district’s current order. Your address decides which applies.

How do you get through the gate?

We follow your community’s vendor process — a code, a pass or registration — and keep the instructions on your account so every crew has them.
