It depends on your water management district and can change during droughts. Osceola County (SFWMD) uses a two-day rule; Polk County (SWFWMD) and Lake County (SJRWMD) currently have one-day-a-week shortage orders. Each city page shows the rule for that area with a link to the official source.

From the blog
Short, practical guides based on UF/IFAS and official county and water-district sources.

The first 90 days, then a month-by-month plan: watering new sod under SFWMD rules, when to feed, when to expect weeds and fungus, and what to leave alone.

Read what the letter actually cites, fix those items first, and answer before the deadline with photos. A plan for the next two weeks.

Grass here grows fast, watering rules change with drought orders and storm season runs six months. What to set up so the yard runs without you.
